He is a member of the American Bar Association; the American Association for Justice; the Kentucky Bar Association; the Kentucky Bar Foundation, Charter Life Fellow; the Kentucky Justice Association, Board of Governors; the Fayette County Bar Association; and the Florida Bar. He also serves the legal community as adjunct Professor of Litigation Skills at the University of Kentucky College of Law. He is also a Continuing Legal Education Seminar Lecturer for the University of Kentucky College of Law, the Louisville Bar Association, the Fayette County Bar Association, and the Kentucky Justice Association.
Steve served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army from 1969-1971.
